Michiru got out of the helicopter on shaking legs, she knew Haruka was angry with her she broke the one rule she herself had made. 'Don't go after me' But she did when Eudiel held that gun up to Haruka's chest Michiru lost it. She could only think about how much she didn't want to live in a world without Haruka. How alone she had been and how after terrible dreams Haruka would ask to lay next to Michiru and if she wasn't there to do that anymore Michiru might lose it.
She opened the door and set her bag down, looking into the mirror that was buried in her pure heart. She never would have guessed it was her and Haruka. There was no more mission at least not this one no more searching for pure hearts. It put them in a different light, or at least what they shared and now if Haruka didn't know she was in love with her she had to now. They hadn't said a word to each other since they left the Island. Michiru went to put on tea not wanting to be the first to speak, but also not knowing when Haruka would break her silence. Michiru guessed when she did it would be with anger.

Haruka stepped out then. She hadn't spoken to Michiru the entire ride back to their place. She was upset. Michiru knew it. That was why she hadn't attempted to talk to her (a wise thing).
In the apartment, Haruka pushed past Michiru and went to her room.

Michiru sighed, she would have to breach the subject sooner or later. She took a long shower washing off all of the grim from her battle. It was intense and she was covered in cuts from running though the thorns that she was tied up in. Michiru broke them to help get to Haruka, to break her own rules. She would do anything for Haruka but now Haruka was pissed. Michiru couldn't blame her they nearly died.
She did ruined this, she was angry. She hit the wall, "DAMN IT!" Michiru got out wrapping herself in a towel she needed to talk to Haruka but how could she? What could she say besides I love you and I was wrong. She did love her more then anything this was just to much. She couldn't watch her die, to be along with the world on her shoulders was something Michiru couldn't bear again. Even if she was strong on the outside it didn't stop her form being scared and alone inside. She knew Haruka better then anyone and she knew she hated it when people broke promises. Still she had to wonder if Haruka loved her. They were close but was it enough?
"Haruka?" She knocked on the door. "Please we need to talk." She gave up after Haruka ignored her turning to walk further down the hall with tears in her eyes.

Haruka was furious!
The two of them had made a vow going into this that, should one of them die the other was to continue on with the mission. Well, Haruka had been compromised and Michiru? She took the Witch's gun and struck herself with it as well!!
Haruka slammed her fist against the wall. It left a hole in the drywall as well as injured the blonde's hand. However, Haruka didn't feel it. She would later..... But this was better than striking her aqua-haired companion.

Michiru jumped when she heard Haruka hit the wall, she knew she was angry but this was angrier then she had ever seen her. She turned her back to the door, "Haruka please I couldn't let her kill you and once I saw the talisman I knew I had one to I had to.." She nearly broke all she wanted was for Haruka to hold her and tell her it was okay. "Haruka please... just open the door?"

Michiru cringed, "I know we agreed if one should be in danger the other should fight until the end. When I saw her hold the gun up to your chest I couldn't help it I had to fight her. I know I got shot in the process but you shot yourself after Haruka! Can't I be mad about that?" She asked her head now against Haruka's door. "I tried to restrain myself I just couldn't I don't want to live in a world your not in." There she said it she admitted it finally.
Michiru turned walking away with tears running down her cheeks, Haruka had every right to be mad but then so did she. Usagi filled her in on the fact that Haruka had shot herself with the gun right in front of her. Thinking she needed the Talisman inside her or was it more... was it that she didn't want to be without Michiru either? She took a shaky breath, Michiru knew from the moment she saw Haruka run that she was her destiny it didn't matter if they were both girls or if Haruka pushed her away and her destiny along with it. This was the person Michiru always searched for the person who shared her ultimate fate.
The dreams started up again after that, balls, lonely times on her planet but now in between a blonde strong and smart entered them bringing the painful dreams a moment of clarity Michiru never knew. Fighting demons was now done with another instead of Michiru doing it alone. As her dreams changed so did her reality. Haruka moved in with her, Haruka fought, and Haruka was there to confide in. 15 years of being alone and finally Michiru had someone. She made Haruka make that promise because she knew if anyone was going to die it would be Michiru and she wanted Haruka to go on. However Michiru herself never intended on going on without Haruka. Come hell or high water or both she would protect Haruka until the end.
She sat on her bed, waiting to see if Haruka would talk.
