Minako fell asleep early this evening, she has been studying so hard lately that she managed to drift off on her open law book only to shake herself violently awake due to a dream. Not just any dream...the dream. The very dream that has haunted her nonstop since her memories of past lives returned.
The Venusian palace lay in ruins, everything she has ever known and loved has been destroyed. They decided to lay siege on the inner planets before they destroyed the Moon attacking all four simultaneously limiting the aid their allies could offer them. She has lost contact with the others while the armies of the outer planets were sent to protect the Moon. She would feel the sparks of her sisters-in-arms fade once they left the world of the living to join their ancestors, she was relieved all of their sparks were still intact. Unfortunately she had no choice but to retreat to the Moon, leaving the remaining men and women to die in her place.
"Sister." He said. "There is nothing more you can do here. If you stay, all that we have fought for to this point will be meaningless. Return to the Queen and Princess, they are our only hope!" He pushed her onto the nearest telepad, trapping her in place. She could not break free as the porter warmed to send her to her destination. He charged forward into the oncoming onslaught, he fell before she could be sent out. Screaming in pain, she felt her connection to her brother snap as the enemy troops charged forward to stop the port she occupied, they were too late; she fell to the floor of the Moons portal room. Sobs wracked her delicate body as she mourned the loss of her only sibling. Her family, her home, her people...they were gone.
Now she walked quietly through the barren streets. It was a beautiful fall night, if not a little cold for her tastes. She pulled her coat tightly against her body and concentrated on the sound of the leaves drifting slowly to the ground. She was a storm of emotion hidden behind her megawatt smile, the bell to the arcade jingled happily as she stepped through the door. A tall blonde haired man a little older than she was smiled as she walked toward her favorite booth and dumped her text books out on the table.
"Soon sister." He thought to himself "We will meet again very soon." A lily on her table drew her attention from her text, where it came from she was uncertain. There was a small piece of paper placed under it; removing the paper from its place she scanned over the beautiful scrawl, she has seen no handwriting like it. "Soon." was all it said. Shrugging to herself, she moved the flower and the note closer to the window and turned her attention back to her text book. She will worry about it in the morning.
